Location-Upminster

During the week we brainstormed many ideas as to what the location for our music video should be. London was an idea that we liked, however we settled on Upminster due to it being more practicable.It is nearby for everyone involved with our music video, as well as having all the different places that we were hoping to film in. Key aspects of the music video that we are envisioning contain a coffee shop, train station, and a park; all of which are easy to find within Upminster. Using Upminster as our location also benefits us greatly in the respect that if we need to do any extra, last minute filming it nearby and quick to get to. Below is a couple of pictures of places in Upminster where we are planning on filming:

Animatic

The following link is to our animatic. It is only the first two minutes of the song because we are currently still thinking what we are going to do next, and are hoping that after we have gone out and filmed the beginning that we will get some inspiration for the rest of the video. The animatic is very useful to has as it helps us to visualize what our music video is going to look like. This can then show us whether or not our current idea flows well together or not, giving us time to think if an adaption if necessary.

Creating Our Animatic

Today we took pictures of our storyboard. Once all the photos had been taken we uploaded them all to the computer and imported them into Adobe Premier Pro. We then began editing them to create our animatic. To import the song we used youtube converter and added the pictures to the song, edting the length of time each one lasted and also edited to the beat for some parts. We found this particularily useful in seeing where we are at, and how much more planning we need to do.
