Haven't Met You Yet Ideas
Below is an image showing a mind map of our main ideas for our music video. For our Narrative, we begin with the boy sitting at the station, he sees the girl on the train and she leaves her Ukulele behind. He runs after her to try and give her back her Ukulele and it sparks the beginning of their love story. For our music video, we are going to use our friends Megan and Will. She will be wearing a dress, ribbon in her hair and have a Ukulele, he will be wearing casual clothes and earphones/headphones. We’ve decided to film at Upminster Station, London train stations, Covent garden, a Park and the London Eye. We will be using shots such as: a pan, establishing shot, close ups and shot reverse shot. Editing to the beat will also be used.

Camera Movement Tutorial
We found that this video would be very useful when starting to film our music video. The video shows lots of different shots that can be used to show emotion and because our music video is about love, some of these shots would be very useful. Although we don’t have access to a track and dolly, we can do some of the shots handheld but put a stabilizer on the videos. The video has helped inspire some different shots that we would like to use within our music video, which we believe will help to make our video more captivating and entertaining.

Media Representation Theories
The following Prezi is about different media representation theories. I have used the TV comedy series Scream Queens to provide examples of how these representation theories are applied.
Prop List
Within the general idea for our music video there are some props that we will need. These include:
- Ukulele
- flowers
- chips
- oyster card X2
- wallet
- drinks (in Costa)
- mobile phone X2
Luckily, these props are not too difficult to get and some of them we already have, meaning we won't have to hunt down many props.
Costume Ideas
Our ideas for costumes are on the basis that they should be fairly casual. This is because our setting is in the streets and therefore surrounded with people. We want to show how both characters look normal and fit in with society, and how they don't particularly stand out in a crowd to everyone else, however to each other they do.
We have a clear outline for what we envision for the female character:
We have a clear outline for what we envision for the female character:
- dress
- ribbon in her hair
- cardigan
- possible scarf- dependent on weather
- important prop for her to have is a ukulele
For the male character we think:
- jeans
- top
- hoodie
Another reason why we want them to look like ordinary people, is so that the audience will relate to them, and therefore enjoy the music video more.

Story boarding
Today we spent some time story boarding. This is an effective way of planning as it helps us to visualize what shots we want within our music video, and which order we want them in. It has helped us to decide what types of shots to use, varying the type, angle and movement of the shots. We can see how the shots look together and therefore decide whether or not it works well and if we should add any other shots in, like deep focus shots. By story boarding, we can also gather how well our idea will flow together. Below are images of our storyboard so far.

Characters
At this moment in time, we only have basic ideas as to what our characters will be like. There will be two main characters. The reasoning for this is because we want to show the formation of a couple within our music video. Our questionnaire findings also showed that most of the respondents said that the feel a connection and can relate to two characters. This helps us to know that our audience will be able to relate to both characters. These characters will be a young female, and a young male. They will both be fairly happy, carefree people which enjoy the simple things. At the beginning of the video they will be strangers, and the video will show the progression of their relationship.
